"tOucHiN' BaSe"

lunch...i don't know bout you guys,
but i surely love having lunch especially long lunches.
maybe it's because of my pre-schoollike sched (7-11..yes i know what your thinking...well ganyan tlga ang buhay!)
you know after much mulling over & mind wandering you tend to get hungry, if you know what i mean???
and having nothing to do afterwards...i'm bound to love it!

well, today's lunch was extra special
i had this lunch date with a bunch of my old friends from Aam
coz it has been quite a while since I've last seen and have actually spoken with them.

it was nothing fancy we just ate at one of the food hauses in conception this place called PAO TSIN/ pao chin(I love saying that word) w/c I personally thought was a wrong choice … the poor service, food wasn't that great I mean I've had better & cheaper meals compared to that... the place was too crowded to the point that I was sitting back to back with another person...literally!
but it didn't matter...what made it special was the company of old friends coming together... getting the latest scoops, knowing the juiciest gossips, laughing at the corniest jokes & just spending time catching up with each others' lives.

But most of the time they were ranting & lamenting over their grades and how difficult everything was...that it was nothing like before (they were use to getting really high grades being DL's and everything), while we on the other hand, were raving on how fun, pressure free & stress free BA was… it was really a blast it was as if we were never separated at all

it made me realize how much I miss them...and that how I wish we were still blockmates, but of course, we've already made our choices...they chose the dreadful accounting (w/c i believe is social suicide) while I, on the other hand, chose the wiser option which is business administration (yeah baby)…though we may not see each other as often as we use to, I know we'll still be good friends…

I don't know if it's the theme of this day, but I was also able to talk with one of my closest friends back in high school-- kiko! It actually came as a surprise to me, coz he hasn't really called in a long time…I think we talked for an hour or so…and talked about anything and everything under the sun… until mom called and the line was cut too bad. Buti nalng we were able to set a date para makapagbonding! Kiko looking forward to our date! :P

"goodbye mr. gumanoy...HeLLo SabSy!"

our prof. in marketing research finally gave up on us and left us hanging in the middle of the semester...talk about perfect timing! rumor has it that he went back to his native land...butuan City! Well i was not even a bit surprised with his decision...i believe it was really bound to happen...according to my own dictionary..Abominable ika nga! ha! kasi ba naman no one seems to give a damn about him...i mean he doesn't get the respect that he deserves...imagine he has a PhD in God knows what... but no one seems to care...well i guess it's because it's difficult for people to take him seriously...

i remember the first day and first time we saw him..and man what was he thinking...just imagine this.. a man in his 40's or late 30's siyempre he's turning bald but the weird thing is he still keeps his bangs...he has 2 clumps of hair hanging on his forehead..nagmistula siyang isang hipon (that's what my sister calls such hairstyle) and we think he's crushing on one of our classmates a guy classmate for that matter! plus he has this regional defect (this is another topic and will be discussed further in the next entries.

well, it was not all negative, of course there was a good side in him..i remember him giving a test and making it so much easier for us...he gave us pointers and everything to the point that he was giving away the questions of the test! plus he lets us do things that would make our grades higher! oo db..ang bait nya! so much for that too bad he had to go...

we've just met our new prof. si isabelita sy palanca a.k.a sabsy. ang cool ng nick nya noh. well she's sobrang different from mr. g... she's no academician but a practitioner,i really think we'll learn a lot from her kc she has a different approach on things, a more intresting and fun approach for that matter....and she really wants us to learn from her...and you could really see her devotion...kaya i love her! go sabsy!:)
