"it looks like a date, sounds like a date, but certainly not one"

went out for a movie, grabbed a bite, and talked much...
some people would actually call it a date..
yeah maybe, but believe me beyond that, there was nothing more to it
it was basically like hanging out..wait, it was actually hanging out..
more of catching up with a long lost best friend...
more like the "platonicky", "sibilingly" (if there's such a thing) type of date.
now that we're finally clear with that...
it went actually well, though it was spontaenous
*he just basically called me up and we where off to somewhere and nowhere in particular.
but is was so much fun...we had pizza and i couldn't actuallly believe or i've somehow forgotten that anyone.. a person i know, for that matter was capable of eating 4 silces of pizza in less than 3 min?
i have forgotten i was with kiko. . . with cokie and food nothing is impossible! (background: can eat 2 bigmacs *upsized* faster than i could eat my regular cheese burger meal)
i don't know maybe because of the time pressure or i was caught in the moment that i ate 4 slices of pizza in less than 5 mn. ( i'm the type who loves to enjoy a good bite, savoring every moment *except when i'm with cousins that's a totally diff story*.)
after that tummy bulging experience we literally had to run /speed walk to the cinema..to catch the flick...we decided to watch brokeback wala lang since it has won a lot of awards, we decided to find out what was all the fuzz about...
the movie was good more of ok..i didn't actually think that there could be such a love.. between two men, cowboys for that matter. usually kc db the other guy(the papa) is only after the gay guy's money..but in this case i guess they really found love and acceptance in each other's arms...how cheesy could it get??...pero personally i didn't find it dazzing or spectacular not sobrang ganda like what other people said..wala lang maybe i wasn't really ready for such things (tetet no offense, that doesn't make me a bad person ayt?)i'd rather stick with the conventional guy-woos-girl-girl-pretends-she-doesn't-like-guy-but-somehow
-guy-finds-girl's-soft-spot-and-ends-in-happily-ever-after.
i'd rather have those love stories not that i'm a sucker for such, but i would gladly prefer it...

one more thing i never thought that i'd be around that many a number of (how do i say this without sounding derogatory...) sexually challenged?? guys...hahah! fine! gay guys...if i may just say...nagmistulang gay convetion ang cinema 3 ng glorietta! and i again i don't mean that in any way negative...i'm just merely stating a fact! just for the record i have nothing against gays...un lang...
all i know is overall it was a good night...too bad rae wasn't there..hahah!

"valenTimeS. . ."

flowers, chocolates, teddy bears (tiddy ber) and the the color red everywhere...
darn it! it's valenTIMES once again..

don't get me wrong. it's not that i'm against it let just say i'm not for it...

ever since i haven't been an "advocate of the red fever", i've never been a "believer"..i'm not one of those hopeless romantics who live and breathe "love" or ust even the thought of it...i just think that it's too overrated...

i mean yeah, it was cute when i was like 5 or 6
when you make the cards yourself and give it to your folks, teacher, seatmate, even the guard for that matter.
but now, it just seem to mushy even cheesy to a point. but hey don't listen to me and my stupid cynicism...whatever works for you..

maybe because i haven't experience it first hand..*you might think that i'm uber ugly or anything (well i'm DEFINITELY NOT! *my mom, my whole family for that matter can attest to that*).
i mean yeah, i've received flowers and chocolates from someone but i don't think it actually counts..

well happy valentines nalang to those who have one..and for those who have none..well sorry nlang kayo--tayo...and maybe. . .better luck next time!xoxo

"new love team?!?"
